Green Bay Packers tight end Bubba Franks will get a head start of sorts on this weekend's opponent when he faces off tomorrow against fellow Pro Bowl tight end Byron Chamberlain of the Minnesota Vikings in a Salvation Army kettle contest.
Franks will be in the food court at the Bay Park Square Mall on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 12-1 p.m., ringing the bell for the annual Salvation Army holiday fundraiser. Chamberlain, whom Franks befriended at last February's Pro Bowl, simultaneously will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at the Mall of America in suburban Minneapolis.
The match will determine who can raise the most money for the Salvation Army in one hour.
Packers fans are encouraged to assist Franks in raising money for the Salvation Army, in addition to topping whatever amount Chamberlain collects.
