The Green Bay Packers claimed LB Arron Mosby off waivers from the Carolina Panthers. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction on Thursday.
Mosby (6-3, 250), a second-year player out of Fresno State, originally signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He spent his rookie season on the Panthers' practice squad and active roster, appearing in three games. In college, Mosby played in 58 games over five seasons with the Bulldogs (2017-21). As a senior, he led the team with 15.5 tackles for a loss, tied for the sixth most in a season in program history. Mosby will wear No. 53 for the Packers.
