Lambeau Field's New South End will open this season and among the elements being completed are nearly 30 new concession areas that will serve fans. The expanded area comes with a need of approximately 50 additional groups, including 400 workers, to operate those concessions.
For non-profit/charitable groups, it's an opportunity to have fun and earn money for their organizations. During the 2012 season, 78 non-profit groups earned more than $800,000 collectively for their causes.
"Concessions are a key element of the gameday experience at Lambeau Field and non-profit groups from around the state have provided outstanding service through the years," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "We look forward to welcoming even more non-profits to the stadium this year with the additional concession areas and are excited about expanding our relationships with these community groups."
Groups can be as small as three and as large as 100. A training session is required, and for out-of-town groups, Sportservice will travel to the groups to conduct the session.
Interested groups are asked to contact Sportservice's Teri Heath at 920-965-3775 or via email at greenbaynpo@dncinc.com.
