The Green Bay Packers and Edvest today announced the winners of the "Rookie Reporter" contest, awarding six Wisconsin children the opportunity to be a Packers "Rookie Reporter" during the 2016 NFL season.
The winners also received a $1,000 Edvest 529 college savings account, four tickets to a 2016 regular season Packers home game and autographed merchandise.
As a Packers "Rookie Reporter" each winning child had an opportunity to interview a Packers player, and the first interview video will be aired in-stadium and on Packers.com beginning this week. The remaining winners' videos will be aired in-stadium and posted on packers.com throughout the season.
Below are the winners:
- Madeline Burton of Hartland, Wis. interviewed Randall Cobb. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Sept. 23 and will air in-stadium during the Packers-Lions game on Sept. 25.
- Kieran Stewart of Oconomowoc, Wis. interviewedJordy Nelson. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Oct. 7 and will air-in stadium during the Packers-Giants game on Oct. 9.
- Lucas Bankerof New Berlin, Wis. interviewed Mason Crosby. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Oct. 14 and will air in-stadium during the Packers-Cowboys game on Oct. 16.
- Logan Des Lauriesinterviewed Morgan Burnett. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Oct. 21, and will air in-stadium during the Packers-Bears game on Oct. 20.
- Rachel Van Hefty of De Pere, Wis. interviewed Micah Hyde. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Dec. 2, and will air in-stadium during the Packers-Texans game on Dec. 4.
- Riley Tambingsonof Manitowoc, Wis. interviewed Eddie Lacy. The interview will be posted on Packers.com on Friday, Dec. 9, and will air in-stadium during the Packers-Seahawks game on Dec. 11.
