Autographs, Q-and-A sessions, raffles, and Wisconsin flavors to be featured
Packers fans are invited to bring the spirit of Green Bay to Indianapolis a day early with a free Packers Everywhere Pep Rally on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. EDT, with doors opening at 4 p.m. EDT. The festivities will take place at Rock Bottom, a restaurant and brewery in downtown Indianapolis, located at 10 W. Washington St.
Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will take part in the pre-gameday excitement by greeting fans and participating in a Q-and-A session with Wayne Larrivee, the radio voice of the Packers. Packers alumni Mike Prior and Steve Luke will also be at the rally to socialize with fans, sign autographs and discuss their thoughts on the next day's game against the Colts. A round table discussion with Packers.com writers Vic Ketchman, Mike Spofford and the audience will conclude the event.
"We're thrilled to host pep rallies this season at two of our over 1,800 Packers Everywhere establishments," said Joan Malcheski of the Green Bay Packers. "They're free to the public and offer a chance for fans to visit with Packers alumni and Mark Murphy. We had a great response last year from those who visited us on the road and we can't wait to meet new fans in Indianapolis."
In addition to the Packers personalities on hand, Johnsonville Brats, Sargento Cheese and Miller beverages will be offered to give an even greater Wisconsin feel to the event. A variety of Packers raffle prizes will be given out.
Packers Everywhere, through its website (packerseverywhere.com) and mobile app, enables Packers fans to find official Packers establishments where they can watch games with fellow fans. Being a member also allows fans to attend events that are taking place in different areas throughout the country.
