The fourth annual Packers Fan Fest begins Friday afternoon at the Lambeau Field Atrium. The two-day event, March 7-8, will see more than 3,500 fans fill the Atrium to celebrate Packers football.
The schedule for Fan Fest on March 7 will begin with doors opening at 3 p.m., with a kickoff event beginning at 4 p.m. The day ends at 9 p.m. On March 8, doors will open at 8 a.m. with activities beginning at 8:30 a.m. The day will end at 9 p.m. In addition to player autographs, the event features include main stage presentations and a tour through the team's locker room. Attendees also will enjoy exciting raffle prizes and hard-to-find G-Force and gameday items at the "garage sale."
Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, General Manager Ted Thompson, Head Coach Mike McCarthy and the Packers' coaching staff will be part of the weekend. Current players scheduled to appear include Atari Bigby, Will Blackmon, Colin Cole, Nick Collins, Mason Crosby, Donald Driver, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Ryan Grant, Korey Hall, Justin Harrell, Al Harris, Noah Herron, Brandon Jackson, Cullen Jenkins, James Jones, Aaron Kampman, Ruvell Martin, Ryan Pickett, Brady Poppinga, Koren Robinson, Aaron Rodgers, Jon Ryan, Jason Spitz and Scott Wells.
Packers alumni appearing include Don Beebe, John Brockington, Willie Buchanon, LeRoy Butler, Paul Coffman, Willie Davis, Lynn Dickey, Antonio Freeman, Johnnie Gray, Bob Harlan, Larry McCarren, Marco Rivera, Dave Robinson, Frank Winters and Ron Wolf.
A limited number of wheelchairs will be available to Fan Fest attendees on a first-come, first-served basis at the guest relations desk in the Atrium (a driver's license will be required as a deposit).
Parking for the event is free off of Ridge Road and Lombardi Avenue.
For Packers fans not attending the event, a 30-minute Fan Fest television special will be broadcast on Green Bay's WFRV-TV CBS 5 Friday at 6:30 p.m., as well as on the Packers' state-wide network (check local listings). The show, hosted by Larry McCarren, sports director at WFRV-TV CBS 5 and game analyst on the Packers Radio Network, will include guests Mark Murphy, Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy and other Packers.
Fan Fest presenting sponsors are Chevrolet, Goodwill Industries and SecureHorizons. Other sponsors include the Airport Wingate by Wyndham, The Ground Round, Citgo and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
