11-0 PACKERS HEAD EAST TO TAKE ON THE GIANTS

• Green Bay stays on the road this week as it travels to face the Giants at MetLife Stadium, the team's first visit to New York to face the Giants since 2007.
• The Packers will be looking to clinch a postseason berth for the third straight season. Green Bay can lock down a playoff spot with a win and can also clinch the NFC North title with a victory and a Detroit loss.
• The Packers are off to an 11-0 start for the first time in franchise history. They are just the 11th team in the Super Bowl era (since 1966) to begin the season with 11 consecutive victories.
• Including playoffs, the Packers have won17 straight games, the longest winning streak in team history (12-game streak in 1961-62). That is one victory shy of tying the second-longest winning streak in NFL history behind the 2003-04 New England Patriots (21 games).
• The Packers' streak of 13 straight wins in the regular season (2010-11)*is a franchise record, topping the previous mark of *11-game streaks in 1928-29 and 1961-62. Green Bay has also set a single-season franchise record with 11 straight regular-season wins in 2011, topping the previous mark of 10 in 1929 and 1962.
• This marks the second regular-season winning streak of eight or more games during Head CoachMike McCarthy's tenure (eight-game streak in 2006-07).
• Two of the most venerable franchises in professional football history, the Packers and Giants have combined for 20 championships. Green Bay ranks No. 1 among all NFL franchises with 13 titles, while the Giants check in at No. 3 with seven championships.
• The Packers and Giants squared off in five NFL championship games, with Green Bay winning four of those contests. New York won the 1938 title at the Polo Grounds in New York, but the Packers defeated the Giants in the championship game in 1939, 1944, 1961 and 1962.
• Green Bay holds a 30-23-2 edge in the all-time series, which includes a 4-2 postseason record. The teams first met in 1928 in New York.
• This will be the first meeting between the teams at MetLife Stadium. It will be the second straight season that the Packers have played at the stadium, with Green Bay topping the N.Y. Jets, 9-0, last season in Week 8.

ON A ROLL ON THE ROAD

• The Packers are off to their first 6-0 start on the road in franchise history, besting the 5-0 starts away from home in 1929, 1936, 1941 and 2007.
• Including playoffs, Green Bay has won a league-best nine consecutive road games and 11 of its last 14. The .786 road winning percentage over that span ranks No. 1 in the NFL.
• The Packers' nine-game winning streak away from Lambeau Field ties a franchise record, matching the nine-game road winning streak in 1966-67.
• Green Bay is the only team in the league that is undefeated on the road this season.
• Since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978, the Packers' best road records came in 2004 and 2007, when the team registered 6-2 marks each of those seasons.

WITH THE CALL

• FOX Sports, now in its 18th season as an NFL network television partner, will broadcast the game to a national audience.
• Play-by-play man Joe Buckand color analystTroy Aikman will have the call from the broadcast booth with Pam Oliver reporting from the sidelines.
• Milwaukee's WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since 1929, heads up the 52-station Packers Radio Network, with Wayne Larrivee(play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro BowlerLarry McCarren (color) calling the action. The duo enters its 13th season of broadcasts together across the Packers Radio Network, which covers 43 markets in five states.
• Westwood One radio will air the game across the country. Kevin Kugler (play-by-play) and Mark Malone (analyst) will call the action with Scott Graham hosting the pregame and halftime shows.
• The broadcast is also available on Sirius Satellite Radio (Channel 94, WTMJ feed) as part of the network's NFL Sunday Drive.
• DIRECTV subscribers can watch the game in HD on Channel 715.

MIKE McCARTHY…Is in sixth year as the Packers' 14th head coach.

• Having led Green Bay to the playoffs three of his five seasons with the team, he joined Vince Lombardi and Mike Holmgren as the only coaches to guide the Packers to a Super Bowl title with a win over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV.
• His .714 winning percentage (5-2) in the postseason is tied for first among active NFL head coaches, matching the mark of New England's Bill Belichick (15-6) and Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin (5-2).
• One of only two coaches, along with New Orleans' Sean Payton, to have his offense ranked in the top 10 in total yardage each of the last five seasons (2006-10).

• Leading 14-13 in the fourth quarter, the Packers marched 80 yards in 10 plays, with a 3-yard TD pass to Lee capping it off.
• Green Bay forced a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and recovered the ball in Giants territory. The offense needed just five plays to cover the distance, as Favre found Driver in the back of the end zone.
• A late 38-yard TD run by RB DeShawn Wynn capped the scoring.

STAT OF THE WEEK

• With the win at Detroit last Thursday, Green Bay is off to its first 11-0 start in franchise history. The Packers are also just the 11th team in the Super Bowl era (since 1966) to register an 11-0 start.
• Of the 10 previous NFL teams to start the season 11-0, eight of those clubs advanced to the Super Bowl and five of those teams won the world championship.
• The Packers have won every game this season by at least six points, becoming only the third 11-0 team in the Super Bowl era (1985 Chicago Bears, 2005 Indianapolis Colts) to win each of its first 11 contests by at least six points.
• Green Bay is just the second defending Super Bowl champion to start the season 11-0, joining the 1998 Denver Broncos, who began that  season with a 13-0 mark on their way to a win over Atlanta in Super Bowl XXXII.
• The Packers have scored at least 24 points in each of the first 11 contests this season, becoming the first defending Super Bowl champion to accomplish that feat. Green Bay's streak to open the season tops the previous mark held by the 2000 St. Louis Rams (10 games).
