GREEN BAY -- The winner of Sunday's NFC Wild Card playoff between the Packers and Giants will be going to Dallas for the divisional round.
Seattle's victory on Saturday night over Detroit sends the No. 3 seed Seahawks to No. 2 Atlanta next Saturday for the first of the two divisional games in the NFC.
That leaves No. 4 Green Bay and No. 5 New York to play for a trip to Dallas to face the No. 1 seed Cowboys next Sunday.
The Packers lost to the Cowboys at Lambeau Field earlier this season back in Week 6. The Giants handed the Cowboys two of their three regular-season losses in 2016.
The Seahawks-Falcons game will be a regular-season rematch as well of a game won by Seattle at home in Week 6.
Detroit's elimination also means that the Packers, should they advance, cannot host any more playoff games. Green Bay will have to win Sunday and then twice on the road in order to advance to Super Bowl LI.
