GREEN BAY – The Packers needed to respond, and they did.
After the Bears scored on a 46-yard touchdown pass with 10:39 left in Sunday's game at Soldier Field, Green Bay's lead was down to just three points, at 16-13.
But quarterback Brett Hundley wasted no time going to work, hitting Davante Adams for 18 yards over the middle on the first snap. That began what turned into an eight-play, 75-yard drive for a touchdown, which is the Chevy Drive of the Week.
The drive continued with a pair of 6-yard runs by rookie RB Jamaal Williams, and after an 8-yard completion to TE Richard Rodgers, Green Bay faced third-and-2 from the Chicago 37-yard line.
Hundley calmly escaped to his left and found some open field. Scrambling on a tight hamstring, Hundley gained 17 yards before diving down at the 20.
Two plays later, Hundley fired a beautiful back-shoulder pass to Adams near the front pylon of the end zone, and the fourth-year receiver turned his body to make the catch and get both feet in bounds for a huge touchdown.
The Packers' two-score lead was restored with 5:29 to go.
