The Green Bay Packers have hired Alonzo Dotson as a college scout. The announcement was made Wednesday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.
Dotson spent the past two seasons working with defensive quality control at the University of Houston. Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach at Madison High School in Houston for two years.
Dotson lettered three times as a defensive end (2004, 2006-07) at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of three Big 12 championship teams. A native of Houston, Dotson graduated from Oklahoma with a degree in sociology and a minor in African-American studies.
