GREEN BAY – Packers linebacker Quay Walker has been named to the All-Rookie Team as selected by the Pro Football Writers of America.
Chosen in the first round with the No. 22 overall pick out of Georgia, Walker played in all 17 games for the Packers, with 16 starts, and led the team with 121 tackles, including 75 solo stops.
He also recorded five tackles for loss, 1½ sacks, three forced fumbles and seven passes defensed. He reached double digits in tackles three times in a game, with a season-high 13 tackles coming at Washington in Week 7, and he had fewer than five tackles in a game only once.
Walker is the first Packers player in three years to make the All-Rookie Team, and he's the first Green Bay inside linebacker to do so since A.J. Hawk in 2006.
The Packers' most recent All-Rookie selections were guard Elgton Jenkins and safety Darnell Savage in 2019, and cornerback Jaire Alexander in 2018.
