GREEN BAY – The Packers' opponent for their first international regular-season game in London will be announced on May 4.
The announcement will precede the league revealing the full 2022 NFL schedule the evening of May 12, with NFL clubs announcing their first home game opponent at 5 p.m. CT that day.
Green Bay is scheduled to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what will be the Packers' first regular-season game in the NFL International Series, which began in 2007.
Last year, as part of the NFL's expansion of the regular season to 17 games, it was determined that, beginning with the 2022 season, up to four of the teams from the conference whose teams were eligible for a ninth regular-season home game would instead be designated to play a neutral-site international game.
In addition to the May 4 announcement for international games, the NFL will unveil its first Thursday Night Football game on Amazon Prime Video (Week 2, Sept. 15) during the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday, April 28.
Select games will be released during the week of May 9.
