Packers Mentor-Protégé Program to host training camp session Jan. 28

Event is the program's second training session offered for area businesses

The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program will hold its next training camp session on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 8 a.m. at the Legends Club in the Lambeau Field Atrium.

This session will focus on the topic of Sourcing Capital and Alternative Financing, with Patrick Kotowski and John Bartz sitting on the panel. Following the presentation, participants will have an opportunity for questions, informal discussion and networking.

Any area business interested in the topic and networking opportunity is invited to attend the training camp session. Packers Mentor-Protégé Program alumni and current participants, as well as those interested in applying for the program, are also encouraged to attend the session.   

The Packers partner with AFF Research, a supplier diversity consulting firm, in order to administer the Mentor-Protégé Program. Anna Steinfest President/CEO of AFF Research, said she is looking forward to continuing the success of the program and the training camp sessions.

"The Mentor-Protégé Program continues to improve many local businesses, which can have a lasting impact on the business owners and families that live in our community," Steinfest said. "By holding these sessions, presentations and events, relationships between businesses can be fostered and grown."

The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program was established in 2011 to pair emerging minority- and woman-owned companies (protégés) with established, knowledgeable, and committed companies (mentors) that can provide exposure, appropriate training, resources and experience not readily available to the protégé companies.
