GREEN BAY – The Packers went back-to-back on pass rushers on Day 3 of the draft, selecting Oklahoma State's Collins Oliver in the fifth round at No. 159 overall.

That choice came one round after Green Bay added Texas edge rusher Barryn Sorrell to the mix in the fourth round.

Oliver (6-2, 240) is a three-time, second-team All-Big 12 Conference selection from 2021-23 whose final collegiate season was shortened to just two games due to a foot injury.

On the smaller side for an edge rusher in the NFL, Oliver came on the scene strong in 2021, earning Freshman All-America honors and being named Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year with 11½ sacks among 15½ tackles for loss.

The Oklahoma City native followed that up with five sacks among 7½ TFLs in 2022, and then six sacks among a team-best 15½ TFLs in '23.

He ran a 4.56-second 40-yard dash at the scouting combine, an impressive time at 240 pounds.
