GREEN BAY – The Packers used their 11th and final pick on a position they hadn't selected to this point in the draft, choosing Penn State cornerback Kalen King at No. 255 overall in the seventh round.
A two-year starter, King (5-11, 191) was named third-team All-Big Ten in 2022, when he ranked third in the FBS with 21 passes defensed (three INTs, 18 PBUs).
He then rose to a second-team selection in 2023, though he had just two PBUs.
King, from Detroit, clocked a 4.61-second 40 at the combine with a 37-inch vertical jump. He has a twin brother, Kobe, who plays linebacker at Penn State.
