The Green Bay Packers have signed RB Don Jackson to the active roster from the practice squad and placed RB Eddie Lacy on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Thursday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Jackson, a 5-foot-10, 208-pound rookie out of the University of Nevada, was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 6. He has spent the entire regular season on Green Bay's practice squad. Jackson will wear No. 34 for the Packers.
