The Green Bay Packers have placed running back Kregg Lumpkin on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and signed running back DeShawn Wynn from the practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transaction Saturday.
A 5-foot-10, 238-pound second-year player from Florida, Wynn played in seven games, including four starts, for the Packers last season. He rushed for 203 yards and four touchdowns on 50 carries. Wynn wears No. 42.
Lumpkin appeared in two games for the Packers.
