GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Year.
Fans are encouraged to vote for Rodgers here, on Twitter via the @NFL published polls and on the NFL Mobile App. Voting is open through the weekend.
The two-time NFL MVP started all 16 games and completed 372 of 526 passes (70.7%) for 4,299 yards and 48 TDs with five INTs.
His 121.5 passer rating is the second-best single-season mark in league history behind only his 122.5 rating in 2011, while establishing new single-season franchise records for passing TDs and completion percentage.
Rodgers ranked No. 1 in the league in passer rating, passing TDs, completion percentage and interception percentage (0.95), the first QB to lead the NFL in all four categories since Steve Young in 1992.
The other Air Player of the Year nominees are Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo's Josh Allen. Minnesota's Dalvin Cook, Tennessee's Derrick Henry and New Orleans' Alvin Kamara are this year's FedEx Ground Player of the Year nominees.
