The Green Bay Packers have re-signed T Mark Tauscher to a contract through the 2011 season. The signing was announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
"Mark has been a consistent player for us and we are excited to reach this agreement," Thompson said. "He is a leader in our locker room and a fine representative of the team throughout his home state."
Originally drafted by Green Bay in the seventh round in 2000, Tauscher has spent his entire 10-year career with the Packers. He has played in 130 career games, including 128 starts.
