The Green Bay Packers have re-signed WR Randall Cobband QBScott Tolzien. The signings were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

In 2014, Cobb started a career-best 16 games for Green Bay and set career highs with 91 receptions for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdown receptions. He was named to his first career Pro Bowl and became just the fifth player in team history to register 90-plus receptions in a season. He teamed with Jordy Nelson to become the first duo in NFL history to both register 90-plus receptions, 1,200-plus receiving yards and 12-plus touchdowns in the same season.

Cobb was originally selected by the Packers in the second round (64th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. In four seasons he has registered 227 receptions for 3,049 yards (13.4 avg.) and 25 receiving touchdowns. Cobb has also gained 252 yards on 27 carries (9.3 avg.). As a returner, he has three career touchdowns, two punt returns and one kickoff return.

Tolzien (toll-ZEEN) spent the entire 2014 season on the Packers roster but did not appear in a game. In 2013, he was on Green Bay's practice squad for the first nine weeks of the season before being signed to the active roster. Tolzien played in three games with two starts in 2013. He entered the league as a non-drafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers in 2011. Following the 2011 preseason, Tolzien was claimed off waivers by the San Francisco 49ers, where he was a member of the 53-man roster for both the 2011 and 2012 seasons, but did not appear in a game.
