The Green Bay Packers have released LB Nate Palmer. The transaction was announced Friday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Palmer joined the Packers after being selected in the sixth round (193rd overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Illinois State. He played in 24 regular-season games with 12 starts and appeared in two postseason contests in his three seasons with Green Bay. Palmer started 10 of 16 games played during the 2015 regular season, registering 80 tackles (55 solo), one sack and three passes defensed.
