The Green Bay Packers have released linebacker Tracy White and signed linebacker Danny Lansanah from the practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transactions Tuesday.
White, a 6-foot, 238-pound sixth-year player, appeared in 32 regular-season games and two playoff contests for the Packers.
Lansanah (lan-SAN-ah) signed with Green Bay as a non-drafted rookie free agent from Connecticut on May 2, 2008, and appeared in all four preseason games. He spent the first five weeks of the season on the Packers' practice squad.
A 6-foot-1, 248-pound player, Lansanah wears No. 58.
