Packers retain eight practice-squad players

The Green Bay Packers signed TE Brandon Bostick, QB B.J. Coleman, T Andrew Datko, C Garth Gerhart, G Joe Gibbs, LB Micah Johnson, CB James Nixon and S Chaz Powell. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

All eight players finished the 2012 season on the Packers' practice squad.
