For the 10th year, the Green Bay Packers and Sargento have teamed up to continue "Touchdowns for Charity", a program that helps alleviate hunger in Wisconsin by raising money for the Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee County and Paul's Pantry in Green Bay.
Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb made a special appearance at Paul's Pantry in Green Bay on Tuesday, Dec. 11, to help Sargento thank volunteers for their support and dedication to Paul's Pantry. Cobb addressed the audience and signed autographs for the Paul's Pantry volunteers who were in attendance.
As part of "Touchdowns for Charity," Sargento donates $500 to Paul's Pantry for each touchdown scored by the Packers during the 2012 regular season. Thus far, Sargento has donated $19,500 to Paul's Pantry (on 39 TDs). Additionally, Sargento raised over $400 and secured 250 non-perishable food items as part of the "Touchdowns for Charity" 10th anniversary food drive at Lambeau Field prior to the Nov. 4 Packers-Arizona Cardinals game.
Since partnering 10 years ago, Sargento – the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field – has contributed more than $820,000 to the Hunger Task Force and Paul's Pantry.
Sargento, a family-owned, Wisconsin-based company, is supporting Packers sponsorship throughout Wisconsin grocery retailers during the season with in-store product promotions to generate excitement with Packers fans. Sargento is also present at Lambeau in concessions with cheeseburgers featuring Sargento Deli Style Mild Cheddar cheese and breaded cheese curds featuring natural Cheddar cheese.

About Paul's Pantry
Since 1984, Paul's Pantry has distributed more than 80 million pounds of food to the needy of Brown County. Paul's Pantry was one of the first food pantries to seek available surplus food from the marketplace and relies entirely on the community for its donations. Its goal is to provide a family with enough food every week for as long as needed, so that they may use their food dollars to avoid homelessness.
