The Green Bay Packers have signed CB Trevor Ford from the practice squad and placed CB Al Harris on injured reserve. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transactions Wednesday.

A 6-foot, 188-pound rookie from Troy, Ford signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May and has spent the first 11 weeks of the 2009 season on the Packers' practice squad.

Harris started all 10 games for the Packers this season.
