The Green Bay Packers signed FB Joe Kerridge to the practice squad. The transaction was announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Kerridge, a 6-foot, 245-pound rookie out of the University of Michigan, originally signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent on May 5. After being released by Washington on Sept. 3, he was briefly on the Redskins' practice squad. In college, Kerridge started 14 of 48 games played, served as a captain in 2015 and was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. He will wear No. 40 for the Packers.
