Packers sign five tryout players from rookie orientation

Two players released, roster now full at 90

The Green Bay Packers signed rookie free agents LB Josh Letuligasenoa, CB Raysean Pringle, RB William Stanback, LB David Talley and S Aaron Taylor and released WR Antwan Goodley and LS Taybor Pepper. The transactions were announced Monday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

The five signees all participated in Green Bay's rookie orientation camp this past weekend.

Letuligasenoa (le-TU-lee-yah-se-NO-uh), 23, played in 34 games over three seasons, starting the final 24 games of his collegiate career. As a senior, he tied career highs in total tackles (65) and sacks (three) while setting a new career high with 41 solo tackles.

Pringle, 23, played running back and wide receiver in college, appearing in 33 games with nine starts. He rushed for 1,130 yards and 14 touchdowns on 228 carries (4.9 avg.) while catching 36 passes for 329 yards (9.1 avg.) and a TD. Pringle also saw time as a kickoff returner in 2016, averaging 19.7 yards on 15 returns with a TD.

Stanback, 22, played in 25 games at the University of Central Florida (2013-15), recording 1,157 rushing yards and 16 TDs on 306 carries (3.8 avg.) while hauling in 27 receptions for 244 yards (9.0 avg.) and three TDs. In 2016, he started six of 10 games played for Virginia Union, earning All-CIAA first-team honors after rushing for 1,299 yards and 15 TDs on 207 carries (6.3 avg.) while also recording 165 yards on 12 receptions (13.8 avg.) with three TDs.

Talley, 22, played in 48 games with 34 starts, starting all 27 games over his final two seasons. He totaled 285 tackles (123 solo), 30.5 tackles for a loss, 14 passes defensed, 11 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery during his  career.

Taylor, 23, played in 48 games with 29 starts over four seasons, registering 208 tackles (110 solo), 18 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, four passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. As a senior, he set career highs in starts (12), tackles (85), solo tackles (49) and tackles for a loss (11.5).
