The Green Bay Packers have signed G Adrian Battles and S Michael Greco to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Battles, a 6-foot-3, 318-pound rookie out of Minnesota State, entered the NFL in May 2010 as a non-drafted free agent with Minnesota and was with the Vikings during the preseason before being released in the final roster cutdown. He will wear No. 64.
Greco (GRECK-oh), a 6-foot-3, 224-pound rookie out of Central Florida, was on the Packers' practice squad for four games earlier this season before being released on Nov. 9. He entered the NFL with the N.Y. Giants in April 2010 as a non-drafted free agent and was with the Giants during the preseason. He will wear No. 43.
The Packers also placed WR Terrance Smith on practice squad/injured.
