The Green Bay Packers have signed DT Bruce Gaston to the active roster from the Arizona Cardinals practice squad and placed DT Luther Robinson on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Gaston, a 6-foot-2, 310-pound rookie out of Purdue, was originally signed by the Cardinals as a non-drafted free agent on May 13, 2014. After being released by the Cardinals following training camp, he spent parts of September with the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins before being signed to the Cardinals' active roster in late September. Gaston has been on Arizona's practice squad since the first week of November. He will wear No. 99 for the Packers.
