The Green Bay Packers have signed LB K.C. Asiodu. The move was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Asiodu (ah-see-OH-due), a 6-foot-3, 247-pound second-year player out of the University of Central Oklahoma, played in 10 games with the St. Louis Rams in 2009 and in one contest with the New Orleans Saints last season. He ranked third on the Rams in '09 with 11 special teams tackles and added a blocked kick. Asiodu entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with St. Louis in '09 and also spent time on the practice squads of the Rams and Miami Dolphins that season. He earned first-team Lone Star Conference North Division honors in 2008 at Central Oklahoma after recording 74 tackles, including 13½ for loss, with 4½ sacks.

Asiodu will wear No. 54.
