Packers sign LB Carl Bradford to active roster

Tight end released to make room for Bradford

The Green Bay Packers have signed LB Carl Bradfordto the active roster from the practice squad and released TE Justin Perillo. The transactions were announced Saturday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Bradford, a 6-foot-1, 248-pound second-year player out of Arizona State University, was selected by the Packers in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. After making the 53-man roster as a rookie, he was inactive for all 16 regular-season games and both postseason contests. Bradford spent the entire 2015 season and the first 10 weeks of this season on the Packers' practice squad.
