The Green Bay Packers have signed RB Michael Hill (pictured) to the active roster from the practice squad and signed WR Reggie Dunn to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Hill, a 5-foot-10, 210-pound rookie out of Missouri Western, was signed to Green Bay's practice squad on Sept. 2. He entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers and played in all four preseason contests for the club in 2013. Hill finished his collegiate career as the school's all-time leading rusher with 4,969 yards and 35 TDs on 828 carries (6.0 avg.).
Dunn, a 5-foot-9, 178-pound rookie out of the University of Utah, signed with Pittsburgh as a non-drafted free agent in May 2013 and appeared in all four preseason contests for the Steelers. As a senior at Utah in 2012, Dunn returned 10 kickoffs for 513 yards (51.3 avg.) and a school-record four TDs on his way to earning first-team All-Pacific-12 honors as a kick returner. He will wear No. 13 for the Packers.
