The Green Bay Packers have signed S Jean Fanor to the practice squad. The transaction was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Fanor (Jeen Fuh-NOR), a 6-foot, 205-pound, first-year player out of Bethune-Cookman, was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as a non-drafted free agent on May 11, 2012. He was waived by the Chiefs on Aug. 27, 2012, and has played for the Tampa Bay Storm for the 2013 and 2014 Arena Football League seasons. Fanor set a franchise record with 128.5 tackles in 18 games this past season. He will wear No. 20 for the Packers.
