The Green Bay Packers have signed free agent tight end Tory Humphrey and released linebacker Kenny Pettway. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Humphrey, a fifth-year player, has spent each of his four NFL seasons (2005-08) with Green Bay. He played in all 16 games last season and established career highs in catches (11) and receiving yards (162). Humphrey also added four special teams tackles.
Pettway signed with the Packers last season and appeared in eight games.
