The Green Bay Packers have signed TE Raymond Webber. The transaction was announced Thursday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Webber, a 6-foot-2, 237-pound second-year player out of Arkansas Pine-Bluff, initially entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in July 2011 and spent that season with the club on injured reserve. He also spent time with the New York Jets during the 2012 preseason and participated in training camp with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in 2013.

A four-year letterman at wide receiver for the Golden Lions, he posted 180 catches for 2,376 yards (13.2 avg.) and 16 TDs during his collegiate career.
