The Green Bay Packers have signed nine free agents to the team's 80-man roster, including former UW-LaCrosse defensive back Jeremy Unertl, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced Wednesday.
Unertl, 6-1 and 210 pounds, along with wide receivers Travis Williams of Navy (6-2 and 203 pounds) and Brian Haugabrook of Florida (6-2 and 202 pounds), and running back Jerry Westbrooks of Ohio State (6-0 and 230 pounds) were in Green Bay's 2002 training camp.
The other signees include linebackers Tony Donald of Western, Colo., State (6-3 and 242 pounds), Isaac Keys II of Morehouse (6-0 and 245 pounds) and Jermaine Petty of Arkansas (6-0 and 255 pounds), tight end Joey Knapp of Texas-El Paso (6-3 and 241 pounds) and wide receiver Shawn Mills of Southern Mississippi (6-0 and 185 pounds).
Keys and Mills were in training camp with the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons, respectively, in both 2001 and 2002, Knapp and Donald with the Houston Texans and Petty with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2002.
