The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Kevin Dorsey to the active roster from the practice squad, signed CB Tay Glover-Wright to the practice squad and released TE Ryan Taylor. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Dorsey, a 6-foot-1, 207-pound second-year player out of the University of Maryland, was originally selected by Green Bay with the second of three seventh-round picks in the 2013 NFL Draft (No. 224 overall). He spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve due to a toe injury sustained during the preseason. Dorsey has spent the first five weeks of this season on Green Bay's practice squad. He will wear No. 13 for the Packers.

Glover-Wright, a 6-foot, 175-pound rookie out of Utah State, was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons on May 12, 2014. He was released by the Falcons on Aug. 25, 2014. Glover-Wright started his college career as a quarterback and wide receiver at Highland (Kan.) Community College (2010) and Eastern Arizona Community College (2011). He played his final two seasons at Utah State, where he recorded 69 tackles (40 solo), five tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and 10 passes defensed. He will wear No. 40 for the Packers.

Taylor played in 50 regular-season games, including five this season, and four postseason contests for Green Bay after being selected by the Packers as the first of two choices in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft (No. 218 overall).
