The Green Bay Packers have announced that they have partnered with Sports & The Arts (SATA) and the Green Bay Press-Gazette to source and acquire original art, graphics and photographs for the renovated suite and club levels at Lambeau Field.
SATA develops, curates and implements large-scale art collections to enhance the aesthetics of a building and bring an intimate gallery feel to sports and entertainment venues and create unique fan experiences for each client.
A wide variety of original art pieces obtained through SATA will be featured in various areas on Lambeau Field's Associated Bank Club Level when the ongoing suite and club level renovation projects are complete this summer.
The displays will also feature a large quantity of rarely seen historical photographs provided by the Green Bay Press-Gazette, a collection that is sure to surprise and delight many fans and stadium guests.
"We are looking forward to incorporating unique art and historical photographs into the suite and club areas at Lambeau Field," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "This art will greatly enhance the fan experience, and we are excited to share the new displays this season."
An unveiling event for the completed art and photography displays will be held in July.
"Working on the Lambeau Field renovation project has been an exhilarating journey through nearly 100 years of a football dynasty," says Tracie Speca-Ventura, president and CEO of Sports & the Arts. "Our goal was to develop poignant storytelling in both art and photography within the Green Bay Packers Collection. The SATA team unearthed imagery that hasn't been seen in almost a century. Our installations aim to enhance the fan experience and create a destination throughout the walls of Lambeau that inspire all generations of Packers fans."
