The Green Bay Packers will open a marketing and corporate sales office in Milwaukee, Wis., this spring to provide enhanced service to existing partners in the Milwaukee area and also to grow additional partnerships in southeast Wisconsin, Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy announced Tuesday.
The new branch of the Packers organization will be located inside MillerCoors headquarters on Highland Avenue. MillerCoors has been a partner of the Packers for more than 60 years.
"We are excited to be expanding our marketing and sales efforts in southeast Wisconsin with a Milwaukee-based team," said Murphy. "We're looking forward to having a presence in the region's business community to build upon our existing partner relationships and to explore new partnerships as well. We're also thrilled to find a Milwaukee home with our long-time partner, MillerCoors."
The office will host part of the Packers' partnership services and sales teams, and will service areas ranging from the north in Sheboygan to the south in Kenosha and to the west in Madison, in addition to the five-county area around Milwaukee.
"As a proud Milwaukee resident and Green Bay Packers board member and fan, I am thrilled that members of the Green and Gold are going to join us at our Milwaukee office," said Tom Cardella, President and CEO of Tenth and Blake Beer Company and Green Bay Packers Board Member. "We're honored to be the place the Packers call home in Milwaukee, and we welcome them with open arms."
Aaron Hart, a Packers sales executive since 2009, will head up the office as the manager of sales, and will develop new relationships in the area. Hart has been responsible for developing partnerships with local, regional and national companies. The Milwaukee office will feature three staff members overall.
The new office is set to open in April or May 2014.
