More than 900 Packers fans ate lunch with their heroes at the 15th-annual Chamber of Commerce Packers Welcome Back Luncheon at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay, Wednesday.

The event not only allowed fans to mingle with players and coaches, but also offered the Packers organization a chance to demonstrate its thanks.

"There are a lot of football teams out there, but only in Green Bay is there such a connection with the community," GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman told the audience.

Coming off an outstanding performance on the field, third-year defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila was thanked for his efforts off the field as he was honored with the annual Community Service Award.
