Around 300 Lambeau Field private box holders attended a food tasting event in the Legends Club in the Lambeau Field Atrium, Thursday.
Music was played as the box holders mingled and sampled foods ranging from shrimp and pork tenderloin to the more traditional stadium mix of hot dogs and chicken wings. Levy Restaurants will serve the dishes in these particular suites during the season.
Jennifer Ark, director of guest relations, explains that the event is just as much a business meeting as a social gathering. "We try to provide a wide variety of things to order from depending upon what kind of clients our private suite holders are entertaining and what and the type of clients they have in town," she said.
Ark stated that listening to the needs of each particular private box owner is the key to serving the right food during games. "We listen to all of our clients and we do surveys to ask them questions to understand what they like and don't like," she said. "We can also look at reports to see what people are ordering to see what their favorite dishes are."
Lambeau Field holds 166 private boxes and keeping up with the food orders for each individual box is no small task. Ark explained, however, that most guests are looking for the classic Lambeau Field experience.
"There are a lot of people who are coming from different parts of the country that want the brats and the hot dogs," she said. "They're coming for the Lambeau experience, so that is very popular."
