About 225 Green Bay Packers private box holders attended a food tasting and ticket distribution event on the fourth floor of Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
"It's a nice social gathering," said Jennifer Ark, director of guest relations. "It's been a networking event for them. A lot of our box holders have made friends through this event."
A harpist played as the box holders mingled and tasted foods ranging from shrimp and crab cakes to the more traditional stadium fare of hot dogs and chicken wings. Levy Restaurants will serve the dishes in their suites during the season.
Comment cards were placed on each table so that the guests could write down which foods they liked and order accordingly before games.
A cheese sampler was prominently displayed. This year, local dairies will feature a different cheese specialty each month.
"People love when you go local," said private box general manager Allison Hammer.
Hammer cited steak and blue cheese wraps, wild game sausage samplers and bratwurst as favorites.
While munching away, attendees could also pick up their season tickets at the gathering. Lambeau Field holds 166 private boxes.
Ark addressed the crowd before the food was served.
"We're very excited for the season to begin," she said. "Please call on us at any time."
