For those of you who have ever wanted to peek inside the mind of a Packers player, here's your chance. For those who wish they knew more about a player than his statistics and position on the depth chart, this is for you.
It was with those desires in mind that Packers.com peppered several Packers players with a series of Random Questions. Here's what happened when we got wide receiver and first-round draft choice Javon Walker in the hot seat:
What's your favorite TV show?
"I love the show Road Rules. They just started the new series with the casting special, that's my favorite part. I could sit and watch those Real World-Road Rules challenges all day long."
What's your favorite midnight snack?
"Snickers, especially those ice cream Snickers."
What was your favorite toy as a child?
"Big Wheel. Yeah, I'd ride around all day in the street in that thing."
What's your favorite holiday?
"Christmas, or my birthday."
Can you cook? What's your specialty?
"Yeah, I can cook. I love seafood and I like to cook that. Living down in Florida for a while I got to eat and cook a lot of good seafood."
Who would you like to see match-up in an episode of Fox's Celebrity Boxing?
"I would like to see Jennifer Lopez against Mariah Carey. You would get some attitude in there!"
In a movie about your life, who would play you?
"Kobe Bryant."
Who were your sports heroes growing up?
"Michael Jordan."
If you weren't in the NFL, what would you be doing?
"Well, I would hopefully be doing something with my degree, which was broadcasting. But someday I would really like to get into acting, which is similar, but anything like that I would like to get into."
What's a place you've never been that you would most like to visit?
"Brazil. Specifically Rio de Janeiro, because I just watched a special on E! (Entertainment Television) and they said it had the best beaches."
If you could have dinner with any three people (living or dead), who would they be?
"Martin Luther King, Jr. would definitely be there. Then Jennifer Lopez and Michael Jordan."
Do you have any superstitions?
"I'm always really particular about the way I get dressed on game days, putting socks and football pads on a certain way. When I am getting dressed, I can tell which sock and which football pad should go on which foot or leg. The right and left feel different and I switch them to feel right on game days."
Do you have any phobias?
"Drowning is definitely something I'm scared of. When we were in Florida I was lucky enough to go jet skiing all the time but when you fall off the jet ski and the engine chokes, sometimes they stay there and sometimes the jet ski flies off, and I'm always nervous."
What's your favorite kind of cheese?
"American."
Growing up, what's the worst job you ever had?
"Well I worked at a clothing store, Eddie Bauer, for a short while in high school. I really did not have a good experience there. I liked the people I worked with, but that wasn't my type of clothes and sometimes when I would get yelled at to go get such-and-such a shirt I wouldn't know what they were talking about."
Who is the one person (not among your family) that you'd want to be stuck with on a deserted island?
"Jennifer Lopez. Definitely!"
What do you like to do on your off-day?
"My favorite thing to do is probably sleep all day long."
What's in your CD player right now?
"Outkast."
Tell me a good (non-dirty) joke?
JW: It's more of a riddle. "Say a plane crashes between Florida and Massachusetts - where do you bury the survivors?"
'I don't know. Where?'
JW: "You don't bury survivors, baby!"
