The Ravens' strongest position got even better today, as Baltimore signed eighth-year linebacker Bernardo Harris.
Harris, who will join Pro Bowlers Ray Lewis and Peter Boulware and emerging standouts Edgerton Hartwell, Adalius Thomas and Shannon Taylor in the linebacker rotation, spent his first seven years with the Green Bay Packers.
In Green Bay, he started a total of 79 games, averaging more than 80 unassisted tackles over the past five years.
"Bernardo adds a veteran presence in the middle to back up Ray [Lewis] and Edgerton [Hartwell]," said senior vice president of football operations Ozzie Newsome.
The team also announced late this afternoon that they have waived linebacker Casey Tisdale and safety Chonn Lacey.
