GREEN BAY – The NFL has announced the Green Bay Packers will open the 2021 regular season at New Orleans on Sunday, Sept. 12.
The Week 1 game will kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The rest of the 2021 schedule will be announced later today.
The opener will mark a second straight trip to New Orleans for the Packers after they posted a 37-30 victory there in Week 3 last season. It was Green Bay's first win at the Superdome since 1995.
The only other time the Packers opened the season against the Saints was in 2011 for the NFL Kickoff Opener at Lambeau Field, with Green Bay coming off its Super Bowl XLV triumph.
The Packers are 17-9 all-time against the Saints, including 7-6 in New Orleans.
A special Schedule Release '21 show will be broadcast live on NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL app at 7 p.m. CT tonight, featuring division-by-division analysis and a breakdown of all the top matchups and primetime games.
