Top running play
Eddie Lacy, 60 yards at Dallas, Week 15
Similar to his 56-yard run against Chicago in Week 9, it was on the Packers' first snap of the second half that Lacy got loose, this time for 60 yards down the sideline, the play that sparked Green Bay's comeback from a 26-3 halftime deficit.
Three plays later, backup QB Matt Flynn hit WR Jordy Nelson for a 13-yard TD, and the Packers were on their way to rallying for a 37-36 victory, tying the largest scoring margin ever overcome to win a game in franchise history.
Top passing play
Randall Cobb, 48-yard TD at Chicago, Week 17
One of the most dramatic and memorable plays in Packers' history, and certainly the most significant since Super Bowl XLV. Green Bay's season was on the line, fourth-and-8 from just across midfield, with the Bears leading, 28-27. Chicago blitzed and sent seven rushers after QB Aaron Rodgers, who escaped what looked like a sure sack by Bears DE Julius Peppers with the help of a great cut block by FB John Kuhn.
As Rodgers got out of the pocket, WR Randall Cobb was all alone deep downfield, as Bears S Chris Conte had squatted at the first-down marker, assuming the blitz would force Rodgers to throw quickly. All Rodgers had to do was get the ball in Cobb's vicinity, and he made the easy catch for a 48-yard TD that made the Packers NFC North champions for a third straight year.
Top defensive play
Goal-line stand at Baltimore, Week 6
This was the closest vote of the bunch, and there were a number of heroes in this sequence, on which the Packers stopped four consecutive Ravens runs from the 4-yard line and in. The last two were both from the 1, with S Morgan Burnett making a dynamite play to string RB Ray Rice to the outside on third down, and then DL Mike Daniels, CB Micah Hyde and a host of others collapsing on RB Bernard Pierce on fourth down. The big stand preserved a 3-0 lead at the time in a game the Packers won by two points.
Top special teams play
Micah Hyde, 93-yard punt return TD at Minnesota, Week 8
Two weeks prior, Hyde had taken the reins on punt returns in Baltimore, and late in the first half he helped break open the game at the Metrodome. Hyde's 93-yard run to paydirt was the Packers' longest punt return in six years and tied for the fourth longest all-time. It gave the Packers a 24-10 lead in a game they would eventually win, 44-31.
