The Green Bay Packers and Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin will host the 25th annual Green & Gold Gala on Friday, Sept. 13, in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Guests will join Packers alumni Willie Davis, Paul Hornung, Jerry Kramer, Dave Robinson, Bart Starr and others for an evening of fine dining and fun, with all proceeds benefiting the child and youth programs of Family Services.
Doors for the event open at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow. Silent and live auctions will feature items such as an Orlando vacation package, a Paul McCartney autographed guitar, a Packers dinner event, Packers autographed items, and much more. New this year will be entertainment by speed painter Tim Decker who will paint celebrity portraits live at the event to be put up for bid in the evening's auctions.
Tickets are still available and are $150 each or $1,500 for a business table sponsorship. Call Sarah Beckman at 920-436-4360 ext. 1242 or register on-line at www.greengoldgala.com.
Proceeds from the Gala support programs that protect, heal, and care for local children and their families. Services include those that help children who have been abused, protect children who live in at-risk homes, and get homeless youth off the streets, teaching them how to live successfully on their own.
WBAY anchor Bill Jartz will host this year's event.
