The Green Bay Packers took practice inside Lambeau Field Wednesday for a brief walkthrough on the eve of their final preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.
Thursday's game will be the final opportunity for players trying to win a roster spot to prove to the coaching staff that they, in fact, do belong on the team. The Packers will cut the roster down to the NFL-mandated limit of 53 players Sunday.
"You have to look at my situation and I need to prove myself every day," said safety Jeremy Unertl, who has recently been sidelined with a groin injury. "I think this game is a great opportunity to get a lot of reps and really make some plays, and I'm excited about being able to do that.
"I think I've shown enough for them to be able to make an evaluation of me, however, I need to play this game in order for them to make a further evaluation and to help my chances even more."
The Packers-Titans game will be televised to fans throughout Wisconsin and the upper Midwest. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (CDT).
