Pre-game preparation included much more than trying cleats on for size, with Friday morning's practice taking the form of a game 'walkthrough.' The hour-long morning practice inside Lambeau Field had the players in shorts, jerseys and helmets, and included a light team stretch followed by 11-on-11 formations that will be seen Saturday night.
The run-through of plays was old-hat for most veterans but likely answered some questions for rookies, who will see significant playing time against the Eagles.
The players hustled from spot to spot in the quick, efficiently-run practice that ended right on time and allowed the veterans to leave halfway through.
The Packers face the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday night at 6:30 p.m., CT. The game is covered statewide. The Packers' next practice will be Monday, August 12, from 8:45-11:25 a.m., and 2:15-3:15 p.m., at Clarke Hinkle Field, weather and field conditions permitting.
