The Packers' Tundra Tailgate Zone, the free tailgate party area in Lambeau Field's east parking lot, will kick off the NFL's regular season Thursday night with WIXX Radio's Breakfast with the Boys to be followed by the New Orleans Saints-Minnesota Vikings matchup.
The TTZ opens at 3:30 p.m. Breakfast with the Boys runs from 5 to 6 p.m. Packers linebacker Brady Poppinga returns to host the show this season with Murphy and John Maino. Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk is Thursday's special guest.
Regular season NFL action follows with the with the Saints-Vikings contest at 7:30. The TTZ will stay open through the game.
Fans going to the TTZ Thursday night should access the area through the Atrium due to the Lake States Logging Congress taking place in the east side parking lot.
Saz's Catering. the exclusive food and beverage provider to the TTZ, is back for a second season and will be serving food and beverages Thursday night. Famous for its barbeque specialties, Saz's delicious pulled pork sandwiches are among the items on the menu.
Autographed Packers merchandise and Packers-themed prizes will be given away, too.
Recognized by ESPN the Magazine as one of the factors that makes Lambeau Field the NFL's No. 1 stadium experience in its annual "Ultimate Rankings," the TTZ is an area open to the public. Game tickets are not needed to enter and enjoy the festivities that take place before, during or after the game.
Fans can look forward to the TTZ again being an exciting gameday destination with Saz's great food, live music and Packers alumni. The TTZ features large projection screen and multiple big-screen HDTVs. The NFL Sunday Ticket is available, so fans can see every game being played.
Other features of the TTZ include Packers prizes and a chance to win pregame sideline passes to watch the Packers warm up prior to the game.
